A low odor, low-shrink, fast-setting urethane elastomer which offers very high tear strength, impact resistance and wear resistance. Phthalate free, mercury free and MOCA free. Pour easily. Cured rubber has exceptional performance characteristics and dimensional stability. Simpact urethanes are suitable for making tear and impact resistant props, dimensionally stable prototypes and rubber mechanical parts. Simpact 80A offers exceptional UV resistance.
Can be combined with Ure-Fil 13 to create high strenfth simulated vines, branches, etc. for zoos and other theme environments. Can be colored with SO-Strong, UVO or Ignite colorants. A release agent is necessary (Universal Mold Release or Ease Release 200) to facilitate demolding when casting into or over most surfaces. CAUTION: Simpact 80A is for industrial use only.
